Argosy Real Estate Partners Acquires Site for Single Family Build-for-Rent Project in Charlotte, NC
We are pleased to announce that Argosy Real Estate Partners, in partnership with Canvas Residential and Collett Capital, has acquired a fully-entitled, 7-acre land site for the development of Avery Place Townhomes, a single family build-for-rent community totaling 58 townhomes. Avery Place is located in the Steele Creek submarket of Charlotte, NC, approximately nine miles southwest of downtown and six miles from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Avery Place will feature two-story townhomes with three bedrooms, two full and one-half bathrooms, and either a one- or two-car attached garage. Interior finishes will feature open floor plans, 9-foot ceilings, vinyl-plank flooring, shaker cabinets, and stainless-steel appliances. Select units will feature a fenced in backyard. Avery Place will offer a variety of onsite amenities including shared greenspaces, walking trails, and a dog park.
Argosy’s development partner is a partnership between Charlotte-based Canvas Residential (“Canvas”), a real estate investment company that specializes in single family build-for-rent and multifamily development across the Southeast, and Collett Capital (“Collett”), a private real estate development and investment firm. Avery Place is Argosy’s first investment in partnership with Canvas and Collett. The partnership is also under contract to develop a second 140-unit single family build-for-rent townhome community in the Charlotte market.
