Argosy Real Estate Partners Acquires Opportunity Zone Site for the Development of Outbound Yosemite Hotel in Oakhurst, CA
We are pleased to announce that Argosy Real Estate Partners, in partnership with Waterton, has acquired an approximately 16-acre property in Oakhurst, California that will be re-developed into a 135-key, outdoor-inspired, lifestyle select-service hotel called Outbound Yosemite. Outbound Hotels is a lodging brand focused on lifestyle and alternative lodging hotels located in or near irreplaceable outdoor destinations. The property, which currently operates as the 13-key Hounds Tooth Inn, is situated adjacent to Route 41, which serves as the main throughfare for visitors entering Yosemite National Park through the park’s South Gate entrance. Outbound Yosemite will feature a highly differentiated mix of traditional guestrooms and modular cabins, a main clubhouse, and a variety of onsite amenities, including an outdoor pool, a bar/restaurant and walking trails.
The investment was made in partnership with Waterton, a Chicago-based institutional real estate investment company focused on multifamily and hospitality properties, and Amrut Properties, a California-based operator and developer of hospitality properties with significant development experience in the Oakhurst market. The project is Argosy’s second investment with Waterton.
