We are pleased to announce that Argosy Real Estate Partners, in partnership with Doradus Partners and RCP Companies, has acquired an approximately 2.6-acre Opportunity Zone site in Huntsville, AL for the development of Bartley Lofts, a six-story, 273-unit multifamily community with 8,360 sf of ground floor retail. The project is located in the Quigley neighborhood, which serves as Downtown Huntsville’s entertainment district. The project is also part of the CityCentre at Big Spring masterplan, which currently includes a 120-room AC Hotel by Marriott and a 278-unit market-rate multifamily property with future plans to add an additional hotel and a food hall. Huntsville, which is nicknamed “Rocket City,” serves as one of the nation’s leading defense, aeronautics and space employment hubs.

The project is anticipated to be completed in Q4 2025 and will feature a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units with an average unit size of 904 sf and 8,360 sf of ground-floor retail. The project will feature a variety of onsite amenities including a resort-style pool and courtyard, fitness facility, co-working space, and resident lounge, among others.

The investment was made in partnership with Doradus Partners (“Doradus”), an Alabama-based real estate investment company and the CityCentre at Big Spring master planner, RCP Companies (“RCP”), a private real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Huntsville. The project is Argosy’s first investment with Doradus / RCP.
