Argosy Real Estate Partners Acquires 600 N 62nd in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
We are pleased to announce that Argosy Real Estate Partners, in partnership with Scale Data Centers, has closed on the off-market acquisition of 600 N 62nd, an 87,714 sf, purpose-built Tier III data center in Nichols Hill, a northern suburb of Oklahoma City, OK. The property is also located on the eastern part of Expand Energy’s Corporate Campus, which spans approximately 103 acres and consists of 26 buildings.
Originally developed in 2014 by Chesapeake Energy Corporation as an onsite corporate enterprise data center, the property spans 87,714 sf on a 3.25-acre site. The property is fully pre-leased to three customers, who will occupy the property following the completion of the ongoing renovation. The renovation will functionally convert the property from an enterprise to a hyperscale data center. The transaction presents an opportunity to acquire a purpose-built data center at a heavily discounted cost basis and execute a lease-up business plan that we believe is largely de-risked due to the property being fully pre-leased and the renovation being fully funded by the customers.
Scale Data Centers is a vertically integrated data center operator founded and run by Trevor Francis to solely focus on the acquisition and operation of data centers.
